Finishing Touches 

The Lord spoke to me the other day and said He is putting the finishing touches on me before He thrusts me forward into my breakthrough.

I was pleased to hear this because it gave me great comfort and confidence in knowing that Jesus would polish me up even if I feel that I have fallen flat in some areas.

Peace came upon me as I realized that  the Lord has already gone before me doing amazing things behind the scenes surpassing my capabilities and expectations.  After we've done all we can do to "make the cake," He is puts that sweet icing on the top!

In these Last Days we need to know that we are moving forward in the right direction.  We need to know that God is in control when we are not sure if we are moving in the direction or making the right decisions. 

This is also great because it takes away our fear of failing when are not perfect, knowing that God is perfecting us and lining up things in our lives for a glorious outcome. Psalm 138:8.

So I want to give you the same jolt of confidence in the Lord to assure you that anything in your life needs His finishing touches, God's loving and mighty hands is more than able to transform you and your life beyond what you could imagine.

The bible says in Ephesians 2:10  "For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works." Although we may still be a little rough around the edges, we are the clay and He is the Potter chiseling away in our hearts and souls so that reflect His brilliance!

God has just the right ingredients, the best ideas, creativity, solutions, timing and ultimately has the final say, if we trust in Him. He has already envisioned us as a beautiful work of art since the beginning of time.

His finishing touch is just what we need to thrust us to the next level and take hold of His glorious plans for our lives.
